The incumbent will serve as the Program Support Assistant withinSocial Work Service performing a variety of administrative and/orclerical tasks associated with maintaining and supporting the workperformed in the Social Work Service Line and the various VAprograms that fall under Social Work, to include Medical FosterHome, Advanced Care Planning, Transition and Care Management,Caregiver Support, Veteran Directed Care, Spinal CordInjury/Disorder and Chaplain.

Committee Support:Serves as a standing recorder for various committees for the SocialWork Executive and other program managers within the Social WorkService Line.Schedules meetings to include scheduling of the conference room,requesting VANTS Line and/or Video Conferencing, compiles agendas,maintains correspondence with members, tracks issues, and completesminutes for these meetings.
Data collection & Tracking Support:Serves as a departmental Automated Data Processing ApplicationsCoordinator (ADPAC). Performs work involving the collection,compilation, and/or tracking of data and statistical information insupport of Social Work programs. Prepares, executes, and/or tracksprogram specific information for Social Work.
Education & Travel Liaison:Performs and supports Social Work in creating, submitting, andtracking educational and official travel requests. This includescreating, approving, and submitting Government Vehicles requests andsubmitting monthly GSA vehicle reports and log books to FMS.
Intranet & Web Support:Performs as the web author for the Social Work intranet websites andSharepoints. Prepares, maintains, and uploads center memorandums,polices and documents that fall within the scope of Social Work.
Mail, Correspondence, and Reports:Processes incoming and outgoing materials such as correspondence,reports, memoranda, and other forms of written communication.
Maintaining Calendar, Appointments & Schedules:Maintains the appointment calendars, schedules appointments,schedules a conference room, reminds staff members of the subjectmatter prior to the meeting, and makes administrative arrangementsas required.
Monitoring Office Resources:Obtains and monitors the use of services, supplies, and equipment.Procures, authorizes, controls, and justifies a variety of generalsupport services such as office supply stock levels and officeequipment.
Procurement Support:Serves as the liaison to the purchasing/procurement office toarrange for, monitor, and secure equipment, services, andproducts.

Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federalemployees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeksmust also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date ofthis announcement.
