Reports to Site Operations Manager & Assistant Site Operations Manager __________________________________________________________________
Reports to Site Operations / Assistant Manager on a daily basis to complete weekly directives within the department.
Assist department specialists (Receiver, Nursery Operations Specialist, and Planting & Delivery Coordinator) with accomplishing directives in their areas of responsibility.
Work productively with both the operations team and nursery team and take initiative to work with others toward a common collaborative goal.
Be flexible and do what is needed to accomplish the goals of the company. Know that sometimes priorities will change within a given day or week.
Attendance and timeliness to work is imperative.
Unload and process all shipment (green and home goods) and ensure product is tagged and packaged accurately and according to terrain aesthetic and inventory standards.
Document all damages and improperly tagged product and communicate to the appropriate teams.
Ensure counts are accurately recorded when checking in drop shipped product.
Communicate all inventory discrepancies to department manager.
Assist with store and ecommerce UPS shipments.
Assist the nursery team with plant care and maintenance, including watering, dead heading, pest control, and pruning.
Assist the nursery team with bringing shipment to the floor and stocking as needed. Ensure all
Provide customer service support by assisting with carry outs, loading purchases, register support, and other tasks as needed.
Assist with general operational and facilities duties as needed; these may include, but are not limited to, trash removal, replacing light bulbs, weeding, performing simple repair jobs, maintaining irrigation systems, participating in fixture moves, and snow removal.
Keep all receiving, shipping, stock, and supply areas clean and organized.
Pull all sold product and keep all back of house sold areas clean and organized.
Perform all store level operational procedures accurately and in a timely fashion, in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Exhibit awareness of Loss Prevention issues and Inventory Control measures (e.g., receiving process, MOS, cycle counts, etc.)
Must be able to lift in excess of 50lbs and push 100lbs on a daily basis.
Must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions.
Maintain a high level of productivity working both independently and with a team.
Basic horticultural knowledge preferred, but not required.
Possess effective and positive communication skills.
Flexibility in scheduling is important delivery times may change without warning.
Willingness to operate vehicles on site, including Kubota off road vehicles, box trucks, and forklifts. Training will be provided.
