The Director of eCommerce and Digital Marketing will be charged with developing and implementing a seamless and well-integrated online shopping experience across the Mara Hoffman web site through leadership of Digital & Email Marketing, Site Operations and Merchandising. This hands-on, autonomous senior-level leader must have a business owner?s mindset; continuously seeking out new initiatives that will drive sales via our eCommerce web site that aligns and drives Mara Hoffman?s overall strategic vision forward.

Responsibilities:

? ? ? ? Develop and lead strategies and initiatives that will drive traffic, conversion, revenue, site experience through effective storytelling & merchandising of our ?window to the brand? and ultimately drive customer acquisition & retention.

? ? ? ? Support the Company?s omni-channel strategy by creating a seamless and integrated customer experience across our digital platforms (desktop, tablet, mobile).

? ? ? ? Partner with Brand Communications to develop, implement, and optimize effective on-line campaigns, digital marketing that drive traffic, conversion, and expand sales.

? ? ? ? Meet financial objectives through annual budget preparation and ongoing management of programs and results analysis.

? ? ? ? Oversee reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal and annual KPI?s across various segments of our eCommerce channel.

? ? ? ? Lead the buying, merchandising and inventory management for the site

? ? ? ? Lead online site map & customer journey to ensure it is supported by best in class features in areas of navigation, internal search, product set-up, activation.

? ? ? ? Assume leadership and day-to-day management of our Digital Agency partner and key deliverables cross functionally.

? ? ? ? Manage the entire process (evaluation to execution and QA testing) of site enhancements and integrations in partnership with development agency and third party providers

? ? ? ? Handle daily order and inventory management, ensuring orders flow through systems in a timely manner, and working with internal teams to ensure inventory meets target launch dates, troubleshooting any issues

? ? ? ? Partner with Commercial Director and Brand Creative team to establish email calendar, recommending key products and product categories, ensuring brand image is championed throughout all assets

? ? ? ? Oversee customer service, ensuring a positive customer experience, while establishing and maintaining company policies

? ? ? ? Coordinate cross-departments to develop on-brand and accurate product copy

? ? ? ? Drive site personalization and audience segmentation strategy to create a relevant, value-added, unique and engaging customer experience.

? ? ? ? Oversee and work continuously to improve customer-focused services, including guidance and driving key client actions & outreach

? ? ? ? Partner on flawless execution of acquisition, retention, reactivation and recognition campaigns & strategies.

The Ideal Candidate & Skills:

? ? ? ? 5-8+ years overall professional experience in eCommerce, and in a high-end women?s fashion apparel business preferred

? ? ? ? Prior experience in most of the following areas: site merchandising, digital marketing and Google analytics.

? ? ? ? Advanced understanding of the digital marketing landscape including email, search, display and social.

? ? ? ? Strong organizational skills and the ability to simplify and break down complex situations and subjects into easy to understand concepts and action items.

? ? ? ? Entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding business acumen and experience with modeling, planning and budgeting and a proven ability to manage and drive business with an eye on ROI performance & profitability.

? ? ? ? Positive, enthusiastic and energetic demeanor which helps foster a positive working environment; strong interpersonal, leadership and relationship management skills, with the ability to lead / collaborate with direct reports and cross-functional teams.

? ? ? ? Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and effectively communicate in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

? ? ? ? Adaptable to change and receptive to feedback and suggestions.

? ? ? ? Experience with automated campaign management or segmentation tools, in regards to site optimization and/or email marketing

? ? ? ? Deep knowledge of the following areas: email marketing, display advertising, search engine marketing and site management

? ? ? ? Knowledge of Shopify and Magento Enterprise preferred

? ? ? ? Experience using ERP systems, specifically RLM, preferred
