Position Overview:

As our Sales Manager for the Southern U.S., you will be responsible for sales of Bakery products within the foodservice segment and for increasing sales through excellent client relations and new client development, while maintaining the highest possible integrity.

Working with the Associate Director, Regional Sales for the Bakery, you will help retail existing clients, grow relationships with new/potential clients, and ensure the utmost of integrity while representing The Cheesecake Factory Bakery (TCCFB) in these and all other relationships.

Here?s more of what you?ll get to do:
  • Seek out new opportunities and sell TCCFB products to appropriate foodservice partners.
  • Manage existing customer relationships to maintain and grow current business.
  • Meet, and/or exceed annual budgeted sales goals.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers so as to ensure high retention.
  • Manage and control all associated costs within Company guidelines and policy.
  • Ensure compliance to foodservice distributor marketing programs.
  • Ensure compliance to the Sysco Strategic Core Supplier agreement.
  • Participate in distributor sales meetings.
  • Execute sales programs for distributor sales.
  • Follow up on new distributor leads from Dot Foods with appropriate broker.
  • Report on local distributor compliance to be shared with corporate management.
  • Provide directional reporting to distributors and brokers.
  • Work selling and seasonal selling shows as needed in support of local brokers.
  • Conduct quarterly broker business reviews.
  • Work closely with Dot Foods on targeting and acquiring new distribution opportunities.
  • Implement corporate programs in place with distributors.

Qualifications


What we require:
  • Minimum of 5 years selling experience in foodservice distributor and regional account sales.
  • Excellent communication skills ? both verbal and written, as well as excellent listening skills.
  • Self-motivation, discipline, strong work ethic with high integrity.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 3 days per week.
  • Ability to frequently lift 35 pounds.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Professional demeanor and professional dress appearance at all times when representing the company.
  • Participation in industry relation functions as required.

  • Bachelor?s Degree preferred.
