Dir, Partnership Marketing
Account Marketing Planning - Serves on a team of marketing professionals that provides expertise and drives marketing planning (annual, seasonal, long range) relevant to specific vertical and product set, optimizing program performance, delivers on Critical Few Initiative (CFI) expectations to achieve/exceed budget targets. Leads the approach and management of the Vertical Marketing Team (VMT) to assist in the Marketing Planning process. Proactively guides the VMT to assess the needs of the program, address areas of opportunity and develop strategic initiatives that can be applied throughout the vertical. Accountable for new program and idea generation to enhance the marketing activities plan. Manages marketing programs that deliver value and work toward successfully meeting the agreed upon goals for each critical initiative. Guides and sets marketing fund allocation in accordance with marketing plan activities in support of delivering mutually beneficial growth for client partners and our organization
Marketing Best/Next Practices - Ensures marketing best practices are in place for specific client programs across channels based on program vertical/maturity. Contributes to process that identifies and champions next practices for ongoing performance and differentiation. Is familiar with vertical benchmarks and adopts a test and learn approach. Ensures brand intimacy by delivering marketing that is a consistent and relevant voice to cardmembers. Performs customer journey mapping and creates lifecycle marketing plans tailored to vertical that encompasses all stages. Participates in the Business Intelligence Review, including daily review of various resources, articles, trends, or discussions that may impact the client s business. Demonstrates knowledge of the particular vertical business and changes in the Industry by leveraging insights to optimize marketing initiatives. Contributes enterprise wide initiatives to further the Know More Sell More brand promise. Enables and informs marketing strategy with emerging technology / capability recommendations and proposals. Develops and executes best practices for marketing to ensure customer adoption.
Program Performance - Partners closely with Client Partnerships Account Team and matrixed team to influence P and L performance by optimizing customer segmentation and lifecycle strategy and informing investment decisions of marketing capital to positively impact portfolio KPIs and deliver on CFI expectations. Partners closely with various analytics partners and matrixed partners to identify key customer segments and behaviors and align on the predictive modeling and targeting approaches to drive program revenue and return, including test strategies. Partners with analytics team to continually evaluate campaign performance and optimize selection criteria, offer and other details of particular campaign. Is solution oriented and seeks ways to create and gain efficiencies.
Relationship Management - Supports client satisfaction and relationship through participation client meetings (Seasonal planning, weekly marketing planning meetings) as determined and ensuring team provides strong ongoing support of client relationships and execution of the marketing planning partnership with client teams and cross functional support teams.
Talent Development - Provides indirect coaching to Partnership Marketing Manager I/II, provides peer to peer feedback, and participates in mentoring opportunities for learning and development. Is receptive and open to feedback to further ones own professional development. Influences associate behavior by leading with and demonstrating attitudinal leadership. Demonstrates leadership through training of peers, assisting in onboarding of new associates, advancing the skillset of all associates, and being viewed as a knowledge resource.Qualifications
5+ years experience in Marketing, Partnership Management. Proven experience influencing others in a multi-level organization. Proven experience building marketing roadmaps and strategies for retail, brand, consumer or credit cards. Skilled at building connections internally and externally to facilitate program growth. Fundamental understanding of financial concepts, retail, loyalty and credit programs, consumer behavior, and marketing analytics
